Why I walked on fire
Two days ago I had my experience of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers.
Many people asked me “why did you do this silly thing?”.
To understand why I did it, please first watch this video, extracted from a movie titled Evan Almighty.
For those that don’t know the movie, it’s a modern-day retelling of Noah’s Ark story. In the scene you will watch, Morgan Freeman plays the role of God and Lauren Graham plays the role of the wife of the man which God asked to build the ark.

Now that you have watched the video, you are ready to easily understand why I did it.
In the last period, I often prayed to find the strength to face some incoming challenges that overwhelmed me. It doesn’t matter what these challenges are about, everyone has its own challenges to face.
Then a friend told me about the fire walking. That was the opportunity I was praying for.
There are a lot of challenges I still have to face after that experience but yesterday I finally managed to do one thing that I never managed to do before.
As soon as I did it, I felt that my life already started improving.
So the next time someone will ask me “why did you do this silly thing?” I will show them my biggest smile of happiness and answer “because it was worth it”.
